I didn't do anything major to the car between summer of 2010 and spring of 2011.  I did decide to restore the car with a  new paint job, new interior, new factory louvers, and lots of other improvements.  I spent most of the spring gathering parts and supplies for the project.  I bought some original deluxe seats for the car, two new fenders, a new nose and front chin spoiler, tons of sandpaper, and some vinyl heritage stripes.

In the first 18 months of owning this car I did become heavily involved in three things, our local North Texas Third Gen group, (NTTGA), the forum Thirdgen.org, which is a great forum for all technical issues regarding these cars, and I started the Third Gen Roundup, which is our once a year gathering for all of Texas, and any surrounding areas.  If you are interested in more information on any of these groups, please click on the images below
